let's have a small recap on my last completed series, "falls apart"

once asked me to tell him what this series was all about for me, and this is what i wrote him:

about "falls apart",
i originally was working on a bigger series of works about visualising different moods. a couple of works kinda stood out of the series, so i kinda ripped it out and made an own series out of it.
the main purpose was to keep this one particular, but still unnamed mood. the way i saw it, the pictures expressed some sort of depressive, but yet warm and welcome feeling. like when something bad happened (again) and you fall into a really aggressive state of mind, but are too broken to act. an aggressive downfall, dynamic and amorphic. these picture perfectly transported this feeling. at least for me.
problem was, i knew that not many people feel like i do. i kinda was in that feeling when i created the pictures - had some serious issues and bad happenings in my life to process. in that approach those images are very personal, but i don't really want people to know this. i love the melancholy about being sad, and this series transported this warm depressive mood in a visual way that i like.
i still accept that every person interprets it another way. you would be amazed what people actually think what is is they are looking at. but that's okay, because i think you can transport the images to different other moods and feelings, depending on who is looking at them. what makes them looking so great are universal things, like pretty shining colors on dark black basis, a certain dynamic and vibrant flair, the mysterious feeling of like you look at something in slow motion.
if you want to force yourself into seeing something of substance, you will most probably see a fire or an explosion in slow motion. last is what i would see, if i did not know what i look at. and yet again this is totally in synch with my intentions, because different stills from an explosion would absolutely fit to the downfall-feeling that i wanted to express with them. is it the world around you that explodes and leaves your mind in pieces? then this is surely how it would look like.

see, i can talk like forever about this series. ^^
i surely do interpret too much into my own works, there is no way i could transport that much of content just through a series of pictures. there is no reason for people to think about it that deep. i mean that's okay, i don't expect anybody to even try it ^^

this is my new web log.
it is meant as a joint of all my other blogs and pseudo-blogs (myspace, twitter, dA, myblog...) as well as a possibility for me of finally becoming a real blogger.

it is in my intention to update it regulary, at best once a day. for the following days to come i have enough stuff to post there, so stay tuned!!

the content should be of a quite wide range of topics, most notable arts, science and my personal stuff. so everyone of you should find some interesting posts every now and then.

i already copy-pasted previous posts from some other blogs of mine that nobody has payed attention to, because of its platform (who is reading myspace blogs anyways??), so you have something to read in the first place.

i have been on twitter for a while.
when i joined it wasn't mainstream yet ; )

and over the times i got used to it, and now i am updating regularly.
i post cool, interesting and funny stuff i found in the net, informing about good games, films and series, i post phrases and jokes, and of course updates about my life.

i try to keep it varied, so i won't bore you to death
and well, the account is doing well. especially now where everybody is on twitter.

basically it's good thing and i am surprised how many possibles usages people found for twitter. makes it a fun communicative modern device for social interaction.

und, diesmal fix auf deutsch, denn es geht um einen DEUTSCHEN blog den ich letzten monat gestartet habe.
eigentlich wollt ich nur mal testen, wie das so läuft, und ich denke es läuft gut genug um damit an die öffentlichkiet zu gehen.

ich halte mich auf meinem blog grundsätzlich recht kurz. ich wollt nich zu lange auf einem thema rumhaken und es soll ja auch lesbar bleiben.

schreiben tue ich dort vor allem über altäglich sachen die mir grad so durch den kopf gehen oder die so passiert sind. ähnlich wie bei meinem twitter account halt ich die persönliche stufe sehr begrenzt und konzentrier mich lieber auf sachen die andere auch interessieren könnten und definitiv nich öde sind ; )

ich habe mich als plattform für MyBlog.de [link] entschieden, weil jene dem user die möglichkiet bietet selbst das aussehen in HTML form zu bestimmen!! (wie geil is das denn XD)
also ja, das is komplett mein layout auf meinem account.

well hello there
thanks for getting your attention.

this one goes out to everybody who doesn't know me personally, but likes my art:
as you most probable haven't noticed, for four months i only uploaded OLD stuff, that i originally never wanted to upload on dA (except for the flyer, that's a new one). this is mainly only 'cause i didn't do anything creative for quite some time now, due to mayor stuff that happened in my life (moving into another city, try finding a job - that kinda stuff).

well, i am actually planning some projects and i am already working on them, but things got REALLY slow these days and i don't know when i can finish one of this projects. that is why i uploaded older stuff of mine, just for you. i hope that's okay. and i hope you can forive me if you recognized a lose of quality in the uploads... at least now you know why this was the case.

okay, heute mal ein journal auf deutsch

weil... ich in den nächsten tagen umziehe nach Düsseldorf. zum 1. märz hin.

wer in Düsseldorf wohnt und lust hat sich mit mir in kontakt zu setzen, der sei willkommen, denn ehrlich gesagt kenne ich bisher kaum leute dort, und ich suche natürlich neue freunde, tolle modells und photographen-kameraden ^^

dennoch: die nächsten paar wochen werde ich erstmal kaum online kommen können, weil meine telephonleitung noch nicht geschaltet wurde.

i took some image photos for the FSOR ("free student orchestra of rostock") i made during their christmas concert on dec. 18th 2008 (and during one trial some days before the concert)
